During the vessel’s port stay in Sagunto, our technicians carried out composite repairs on a passenger/Ro-Ro ship to address several cracks on port side funnel and to repair the corroded surface in the workshop.
Damaged areas were thoroughly cleaned and prepared before applying two high-strength composite patches. The repair was completed using COMPA Repairs technology, restoring structural integrity while avoiding hot work and minimizing vessel downtime.
This intervention highlights the effectiveness of COMPA composite solutions for fast, reliable structural repairs even in confined or difficult-to-access areas.
